Help with registering and making comments

1)The pages under 'Have Your Say' can be commented on, so that you can leave your thoughts about Croydon and hopes for the future. To contribute in this way, you need to register with the site – this is just to help stop people putting up obscene or offensive material. Registering is easy and takes less than a minute.

2) To register, click 'Register Here' in the top bar. Then click the 'Register here' link on the page to access the short registration form.

3) Fill in your choice of username, then choose a password that you can remember and type it into the next two boxes. Finally, type your email address into the final box and press the 'Register' button.

4) You can now look under 'Have your Say' for a page you're interested in and click on it.

5) When you've read what others have had to say, you can click 'Add comment' at the bottom of the page.

6) Type a title for your comment in the first box, then type your comment itself in the larger box. You can click on any of the 'smiley' pictures to add them to your comment – they can add colour and show how you feel about an issue.

7) Click 'Post' and you should see your comment appear for others to read and respond to!
